The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, Paris to Venice, Via Florence and Rome route allows you to disembark at either Florence or Rome, offering the chance to explore these beautiful cities at your own pace.
If you want to head back, the same route is available, starting in Venice and ending in Paris. You also have the option to embark from Florence or Rome.

Throughout 2024, the local government of Venice will be trialling the Venice Access Fee. Those staying in a hotel in Venice are not required to pay this, however, must apply online for an exemption. The Access Fee is set at €5 per day per person and must be paid by each person who accesses the Ancient City of Venice.
