Thalassotherapy
Thalassotherapy concentrates on the power of seawater, used over hundreds of years to cure numerous muscular, respiratory and skin problems through its chemical properties, and considered essential for overall well-being. Based on 15 years of research by Forte Villages Dr Angelo Cerina, Acquaforte has harnessed the healing properties of its Mediterranean seawater, along with the Sardinian climate and salt, by using water at varying temperatures with different saline concentrations to amplify the beneficial results. Aquaforte has six sea water pools each set at a different temperature and each with different concentration of salt and sea oil.
Ayurvedic Park
Situated amongst an oasis of greenery, Acquaforte's Ayurvedic Park is dedicated to the gentle power of Ayurvedic medicines designed to help physical and spiritual well-being through the use of ancient traditional Indian massage.
Forte Lab
All Spa programmes for detox and weight-loss begin with a medical assessment to identify the specific and unique needs of each body. The Spa medical centre is able to perform a wide range of health and diagnostic checks, including food intolerances, as the basis for your personal spa programme.
Treatments and Massages
Detox, weight loss or anti-aging, the Thalasso Del Forte's team of skilled professionals offer a range of exceptionally effective treatments, many of which are exclusive to Aquaforte. Treatments are also available which complement Thalassotherapy: Heavenly legs, Thalasso massage, sea oil cryotherapy and sea mud beauty balm.

Guests of the spa also have access to the Acquaforte Restaurant & Bar- the perfect spot to complement a spa treatment with a wide variety of carefully selected herbal teas. Using Sardinian species including myrtle, prickly pear, thyme, helichrysum and rosemary, picked in season these revitalise the body ridding it of toxins leaving you feeling purified and relaxed.
The Acquaforte Restaurant offers Citalia guests a lighter Mediterranean cuisine, the ideal way to round off a beauty or wellness treatment. This small exclusive restaurant offers the very best cuisine with menus designed for health.
Prices: Entry to the spa costs 95€ per day and includes the use of the Thalassotherapy pools, sauna, Turkish bath and access to the Technogym fitness centre. Treatments are available at an additional cost. Children aged under 16 are not permitted to use the spa.
