Setting sail from the quintessential seaside town of Torre Vado, with its charming port and waterfront watch tower is a treat before your journey has even began. Once underway you’ll cruise along this naturally stunning coastline, looking out towards historic monuments strewn above cliffs, mysterious caves and fabulous Mediterranean villas.
Once you reach the southernmost tip of Puglia, Santa Maria di Leuca, classic Apulian snacks will be provided including fruits, soft drinks and local wines. This spot is not only the bottom of Italy’s famous ‘heel’ but is a pretty cove with azure blue waters almost encircled by dramatic rockery.
On the way back there will be an opportunity to moor up in one of the more open sandy bays, where those feeling adventurous are free to jump into the beautiful Ionian Sea!
We say: “This is a fantastic way to see the famous blue waters of Salento and its stunning shores. It is a relaxing journey where the crew will look after you and answer any questions you may have, as well as providing some Apulian food and drink along the way.”
