Hotel Iseolago provides a tranquil retreat in the heart of northern Italy’s beautiful countryside. It’s set on the shores of Lake Iseo, making it the perfect choice for those wanting to enjoy sailing and other water sports. Alternatively, enjoy the woods, hills and valleys of the local area with cycling, hiking and horse riding excursions.

Hotel Iseolago is ideal for couples, with its pretty garden terrace and elegant bar, while families will enjoy the children’s swimming pool and many activities on offer. Enjoy delicious freshwater fish and other local Italian ingredients in the hotel’s restaurant or explore the many eateries in the local area. Iseo is pleasant 20 minute walk away, and its train station provides easy access for those wanting to explore further afield.

The snack bar is located near the hotel swimming pools and is open from June to the end of August. Serving a selection of cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, focaccia, Pizza and snacks.

Opening times: Monday - Sunday 11:00am - 6:00pm. Closed in case of bad weather.

About the location

Set on the dramatic southern shore of Lake Iseo, Iseo is one of the Italian Lakes’ best-kept secrets. It's seen far less fame than towns on the larger lakes, making it a great option for an authentic Italian escape.

Set beneath forest-cloaked hills, Iseo is still a relatively small town with an atmospheric historic centre and a pretty harbour close by. At the heart of the town is the Garibaldi Square, a bustling piazza ringed by cafes and town houses. Duck down the side streets to seek out cosy restaurants and craft shops, and make sure you check out the local market – held each Friday in the square. There are plenty of dining options in Iseo, too, including lake-view restaurants and traditional gelaterie.

When it comes to exploring further afield, Iseo is only a short drive from Brescia, one of the region’s most beautiful cities. Bergamo is also within easy reach.
