Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel – Small Group Tour gives you a chance to see some of the world’s finest works of art as well as outstanding architecture.
As part of a small tour (with no more than 12 people in the group), you'll experience the world-famous Vatican Museum with the chance to ask the guide any questions you may have. You’ll begin in the museum, where you’ll be able to admire all the incredible works of art on display before you reach Raphael’s rooms. These four chambers are filled with paintings by Raphael, the famous Italian Renaissance painter. These remarkable paintings show the skill and talent of one of Italy's most renowned artists. You’ll then head for the Sistine Chapel, a special site known for its astonishing ceiling made up of frescoes by Michelangelo. Once the tour is finished, you may be able to visit the St Peter’s Basilica if no service is taking place.
**Due to the Jubilee in Rome for 2025 some events may be taking part inside St Peter's Basilica so it may not be possible to visit, St Peters Basilica is not part of the excursion but may be visited after if available.
