My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is beautiful architecturally, and a lovely space. The deluxe room was well sized. Bed was very comfortable, linens high quality. We had a lack of heat problem that maintenance fixed fairly quickly. The front desk staff were polite, smiling and always very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and had a large selection of foods. They even had a large area of prepackaged gluten free options. Cut up melons, oranges, pineapple were sweet even in December. In particular though, the breakfast was made most enjoyable by Marina, one of the wonderful table attendants. She was polite, friendly, even remembered our drinks order from the previous day! Marina was so accommodating when we needed to switch tables when my tea spilled! She went out of her way to make sure we were dry and that we had all of our breakfast items still there. She was so helpful and sweet! I will definitely return to this hotel. I highly recommend!

Donna Camilla Savelli feels like I have a home in Rome. I’ve been to Rome 5 times and I’ve stayed here every year for the last three years since I first discovered it & will never stay anywhere else. One year my son joined me. The cost is so reasonable for such a luxurious hotel especially since it includes a breakfast buffet. You can have a delicious healthy and satisfying meal before daily adventures. It’s in the best location, walking distance from everything yet in peaceful part of Trastevere. It’s allowed me to travel to Rome by myself and last year I treated my son. I can travel by myself too because I felt safe in the location and able to walk everywhere. It’s so beautiful and you are immediately transformed the minute you enter the driveway and see the beautiful former Convent. The inside is just as beautiful with stairways and marble floors. The rooms are spacious, clean and fresh smelling - they look out in the Courtyard that is sprinkled with white lights and beautiful music. In the summer I would open my windows to hear the music and Church chimes. I went in December this year to see Rome at Christmastime, and even some rainy days couldn’t ‘dampen’ my stay or spirits – the hotel is that beautiful. I would have a glass of red wine and a snack tray in the hotel to unwind at end of some days. There’s also delicious lunch, dinner and snacks available from the restaurant. Everyone who works at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Marina R. greeted me my first day and remembered my son too. She made me feel very welcome, comfortable and happy every day. Maria was so kind and sympathetic to my self care and wellness after I shared some family struggles this year. I really appreciated it because as a Mom it was first trip just for me. Mattia always greeted me with a big smile and hello when I came back to hotel. Lourdes is so interesting because she is Peruvian like my neighbor at home and he’s trying to learn English so I was asking her questions, Eduardo is so sweet and friendly, Fabiana was always so kind and helpful, even taking pictures of me by Christmas Tree (I was traveling alone so it was nice to have pictures for my family), Marina Z and Mariel were great too. Housekeeping always did a fantastic job and when I came back to my room it always felt like the 1st day. Donna Camilla Savelli is the most beautiful, warmest and happiest places.

It’s been a truthfully great experience! Nevertheless to say, the atmosphere is like an extension of the hotel magic in Rome. The service here has been very kind and professional. All the cared details are wonderful. Only thing that we stumbled upon is a very small thing like the cap of soap didn’t work or something. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
