Palazzo Ducale is situated slightly outside of the city centre. Once a majestic palace it now serves as a military college. Admired for its architecture that follows classical orders and traditions, this is often considered one of Modenas gems. Today you’ll find a piazza at the front with water fountains and on some occasions markets and festivals take place here making for a great atmosphere. There are also plenty of bars and cafes around if you fancy a coffee or an aperitivo.
