Take half a day out of your holiday to visit one of Italy's most famous and fascinating sights, Pompeii. This preserved Roman town has a history that cries out to its visitors ' and having a guide to show you around means you'll get the most of your visit.

On arrival, you'll be met by your guide, who will lead you on a slow-paced walk around Pompeii's ruins. You'll have headsets for the two-hour tour, so you won't miss out on any of the history. In its heyday, Pompeii had a population of around 20,000 and was a well-loved seaside destination for wealthy Romans. Amble the ancient stone streets, viewing the public baths, bars and brothels that used to thrive back in the day. You can also view plaster-cast displays of the volcano's tragic victims, as well as preserved Roman mosaics.
