When visiting Sorrento be sure to visit the Church and Cloisters of San Francesco, the inside of the cloisters is well-known for it's stunning architecture and is a sort after venue for weddings due to its romantic setting.
Originally built as a monastery in the 7th century, the Baroque-style church and cloisters came hundreds of years later, in the 14th century. The Cloisters are located in the centre of town next to the Villa Comunale from where there are stunning views over the whole of the bay of Naples, it is a great spot to enjoy an aperitivo and watch the sunset in the evening.
