Hotel Le Querce

We recently stayed at Hotel Le Querce late September . As seasoned travellers we did a vast amount of research about the property and the island of ischia prior to our visit . Many tripadvisor reviews had given this hotel a 5* review however our visit and experience of this hotel was extremely disappointing Positives - [ ] Pool towels are of a good standard and you can change when every you require a fresh one - [ ] The bed in the room was extremely comfortable and was serviced with fresh pillows/ linen everyday - [ ] Courtesy bus to the port is available but sometimes didn’t run - [ ] Views from the hotel are exceptional Night time bar man was good at his job and gave good service at all times. Negatives - [ ] The wholehotel is looking extremely tired and requires fresh decoration - [ ] Room standard was poor (see attached pics ) these rooms urgently need upgrading and our room was damp - [ ] Breakfast was a total shambles you would never know if you would get a coffee or not . The two older girls in the breakfast focused mainly on Italian guests and ignored others . Their attitude towards non Italian customers was actually rude . Customers were having to tell staff when things on the breakfast tables had run out . I asked for fried eggs and was told NO but then viewed some being brought from the kitchen for an Italian guest ?. The noise from the kitchen area was appalling staff screaming and carrying on instead of doing their jobs out front . The only time the service was good was on the last Wednesday of our stay when it was obvious senior management were in the hotel and the breakfast staff couldn’t do enough for everybody - [ ] We couldn’t get room service or request a late breakfast - [ ] Hotel QR code information needs updating and adding too as the information given is very limited - [ ] Pool bar service - well what can I say . I have never ever been to a hotel where it was almost impossible to get a drink around the pool during the day . At times the pool bar was shut with a notice” lobby bar open . So off you go to the lobby bar and there is no service there either it was a total joke . On one occassion my wife went to the pool bar to get a drink and again one of the breakfast girls was behind the bar her response was “your lucky to get this “ What outstanding customer service -NOT - [ ] The outdoor pool was never cleaned and had grit/sand /leaves and branches in it . In fact the whole pool area was never cleaned once during our stay - [ ] The outdoor lounges are the most uncomfortable we have ever had the pleasure to use . A hotel of this so called 4 star needs to invest in new pool furniture urgently - [ ] Indoor pool is tired and needs refreshing . The pool again was not cleaned during our stay and actually had more grit and sand in it than the outdoor pool . - [ ] Indoor pool furniture again needs refreshing back parts looked as if they had holes in it - [ ] We didn’t receive any towels on 4 separate days following room service and had to go to reception to ask for room towels Overall this was one of the worst holiday experiences we have had and we would have honestly cut our stay short if we could have got flights home . We appreciate many experiences will differ from ours but it is important negative experiences are also posted so vital improvements can be made for future guests

I stayed at Le Querce Resort for my birthday week and I had one the best vacations yet. The hotel has incredible value. The staff here are lovely people and made my stay super special. They assisted me with adventuring ideas on the beautiful island of Ischia. This was a great experience as I love exploring and learning about different cultures and places. The staff here are fantastic guides. The breakfast was delicious which brought on a smile each morning whilst also sitting out on the balcony admiring the outstanding views of the sea. Moments of tranquility and warmth felt each day. I truly enjoyed every moment here. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. 💛

This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Good location with fabulous views from the public areas and room. Enjoyed the pool, water temperature was warm and no shortage of sunbeds. Our favourite spot was the sun deck by the sea. The sea was very clear and clean and a great temperature. Breakfast was delicious with a fantastic choice. Had dinner a few times. Set menu for 45 euros for 4 courses. This was too much food for us so we ate off the main menu and found the food to be of a good standard. The staff in the hotel were brilliant. Extremely friendly and very obliging. It was a great experience staying here. So peaceful and calm in contrast with the busyness of the rest of the island.
