Botania Resort & Spa is a five star hotel that caters to children aged 10 and over and is a 15 minute drive from the small town of Forio. The hotel operates a complimentary shuttle service to Forio and Lacco Ameno.
Botania Resort & Spa sprawls across three hectares of lush garden that are teeming with tropical flowers, ancient olive trees, and aromatic herbs. You will find the space utterly inviting with its comfortable blend of Mediterranean and colonial-style furnishings. Wonderfully authentic, Botania Resort & Spa offers 52 rooms and suites spread across ten white-washed buildings.
There’s a generously sized outdoor swimming pool that’s fed by a natural spring to ensure a warm dip. Bathe in the glint of Ischia’s hot sun with a cool cocktail ordered from the bar just a few steps away. The resort’s spa features an indoor pool, sauna and a gym, and there are therapists on hand to provide you with massages and spa treatments made with locally sourced products. The hotel also boasts two smaller pools for added privacy.
Gentle jazz and classical music will twinkle out from the piano as you enjoy a drink in La Grotta, the resort’s American bar, which is situated indoors in a natural cave. Botania Relais & Spa’s restaurant, Il Corbezzolo, offers local gastronomy utilising vegetables sourced from the resort’s own organic kitchen garden, and local producers.
The Botania Resort & Spa boasts a Greek amphitheatre that overlooks the resort and occasionally showcases a complimentary musical performance. You can also request a picnic to be made to take into the forest and enjoy with a beautiful backdrop of Ischia to accompany you. Or if you fancy cooking your own meal join the Botania for authentic cooking classes in their dedicated kitchen.
If ever you feel like venturing out then there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy close by, including the white sands of San Montano Bay, and the seaside town of Lacco Ameno. Away from the island’s hustle and bustle you can hike the hinterland or explore old monasteries and churches.
Due to the layout out of the hotel it may not be suitable for the less mobile and rooms are accessed by steps.

Il Corbezzolo restaurant is located by the pool, when the weather is warm, breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace. Most of the fresh ingredrients are from the hotel's gardens or from local producers.
The dress code is smart casual and dinner is included for half board guests.
Il Mirto is the hotel's vegetarian restaurant and the first dedicated vegetarian restaurant on the Island. Dishes are prepared using local fresh vegetables and produce. Healthy food is the heart of the menu to ensure well-being for the body and mind.
Located by the pool, the Iris bar is open during the day and evening to enjoy a refreshing drink or light snack poolside.
