Set in Cilento’s national park, amid its own extensive natural gardens with magnificent views of the bay, Hotel Hermitage is a charming four star property located just over half a mile from the village of San Marco di Castellabate. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it’s in the ideal location to enjoy the towns nearby and explore this undiscovered region of Italy.

Comfortable guest rooms are housed behind stone-clad villa facades and traditional wooden shutters, and some look out towards the picturesque UNESCO World Heritage site of Castellabate. The hotel also has an attractive spacious restaurant with a terrace overlooking the pool, which is an ideal place to relax.

Guests can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool after enjoying a delicious continental breakfast on the terrace. There is also a beach club for sun-kissed days in Italy with a free shuttle transfer directly from the hotel. 

Facilities include a large swimming pool with separate children’s (normally in use mid May-September and the hotel has its own private beach.

Car hire is recommended for exploring the area.

The hotel has 35 rooms ( official rating 4 star). Child prices apply 2- 9  years. Minimum stay 3 nights ( 7 nights in August)

About the location

Hotel Hermitage is located in the San Marco di Castellabate region of Cilento. A seaside resort, it sits within the heart of the National Park of Cilento. The hotel is approximately 900m from the sea and there is a free shuttle bus to and from the beach for guests to use.
