Taste the Local Cuisine

The cuisine of Italy is some of the best in the world, and trying the local dishes of Ischia is a wonderful experience. The island offers a range of dishes that showcase the rich flavours of Southern Italian cooking. Be sure to try Coniglio all’Ischitana a famous dish from the island that is slow cooked to perfection and made with rabbit, tomatoes, garlic, and white wine. Another popular dish is pizza Ischitana. This is a unique style of pizza that has a thicker crust than the traditional Neapolitan pizza and is topped with local ingredients such as tomatoes and fresh fish.
