How long have you been an Italy Expert and what do you specialise in?
3 years, I specialise in all things Italy.
"Being able to match the holiday to a client's requirements and hearing the excitement in their voice when it’s all confirmed."
1. What was your most memorable holiday meal?
This is so difficult, the food in Italy is out of this world. But funnily enough, I had the best lasagna in my life in a service station. While a bit strange, I think this shows just how good the food is in Italy. You don’t have to go to a fancy restaurant, the small and simple places might just be where you find the best meal.2. What is the best thing about being in Italy?
The food in Italy is truly something everyone needs to experience at least once. Also can’t forget about the Prosecco, a light sparkling wine that pairs wonderfully with seafood and antipasto.
3. Where would you love to go next, and why?
Venice, I’ve only stayed in Venice for one night and I would love to have the chance to explore more of what the city has to offer. The short time I spent in the city was wonderful. Venice is so pretty and there are loads of things to do within walking distance of each other.4. Do you prefer visiting cities, coast or countryside, and why?
Lakes, getting around is so easy. You can hop on the ferry and explore multiple areas to get a taste of what the real Italy has to offer. I really like boats, so the lakes are a fantastic way for water lovers to explore while doing something they love. Most of the lakes are also in prime locations for adding bigger cities to an Italy holiday.
